Simplify! Simplify! Simplify!

If you feel your calendar overflows or you have many things to do and people to see, it's time to simplify.

Everything in life absorbs energy: the material things, work, social obligations and family commitments.

The more power you have at your disposal, the better you’ll be able to exert attraction and be more successful in all areas.

Most people think the fact of being busy and have a hectic schedule is a sign of success. What they do not realize is that being so busy you are not able to observe the world around you, resulting in lost opportunities. This alone is a powerful incentive to be careful in the use of our time and energy.

People who succeed take time to rest when things do not go as expected. Most of the time things do not go as expected, something to keep in mind to begin with.

The best I've read about this topic is the book by Elaine St. James called Simplify your life, where he quotes a set of practices that will help streamline every area of life. Such as:

  • Consolidate investments

  • Move to a smaller apartment

  • Replace natural grass with artificial

  • Buy wholesale

  • Abandon the system of calls on hold

  • Throw away the old nail polish

  • Dress in a simple yet elegant way

  • Wake up one hour earlier

You can also take advantage of current technology to simplify your life, since that result in time saving. For example, a client of mine lived glued to the phone and did not enjoy a quiet moment as people called him constantly. The way he found to simplify his life - and consequently have valuable time to spend - was simply to connect the mailbox for 30 to 60 minutes a day, depending on the day.

Think for a moment: is there any software to help you do things better, faster and with less

effort? If yes, go ahead! It is worth investing money in simplifying your life.

How can you simplify yours? Think of ways to harness the latest technology to organize better. Now, write down ten ways to begin to simplify your life and start today!
